If you are self-employed and are thinking of buying an electric car, you will surely be interested in knowing that there are subsidies of up to five thousand euros if you join the “Plan Moves 2019”.
This figure is for the purchase of an extended-range electric vehicle, a hybrid that can be found or a fuel cell vehicle, as well as light vans. In the case that the purchase is of electric trucks or buses or that work with natural gas they have aids of up to 15,000 euros.
The question that many people ask themselves is: does the subsidy compensate the initial overpricing of the electric vehicle? To start, it is necessary to send the vehicle you are replacing to the scrap yard, if it is more than ten years old, or seven if it is a van or light truck. Many companies are not in the business of getting rid of these vehicles, and if they still work well some people think about it a couple of times.
To apply for the plan, the self-employed or the company will have to submit the following documentation:
- If they are self-employed professionals, they must also provide a certificate of registration in the Census of Entrepreneurs, Professionals and Retainers issued by the State Tax Administration Agency.
- In the case of companies, responsible declaration showing the condition of SME or Large Company or, if applicable, if it is an entity with no commercial or commercial activity.
- Certificate of being up to date with tax and Social Security obligations, or declaration responsible for being up to date with tax and Social Security obligations, when the amount of aid does not exceed 3,000 euros per beneficiary person, in accordance with the provisions of Article 22 of the Regulation of Law 38/2003, of 17 November.
- Responsible declaration that none of the circumstances listed in Article 13(2) and (3) of Law 38/2003, of 17 November, are present and, in particular, that they are up to date with the payment of obligations for the repayment of subsidies, under the terms set out in Article 25 of the Regulations of the General Subsidies Law.
